Vineyard in located in a major grape production region of Maharashtra. This vineyard takes the production of about 25 kinds of grape for wine production. Other than Sula Vineyards, this winery is the most popular spot for wine lovers!

Chateau Indage Vineyards History

This vineyard is popular for its range of Premium Chantilly Wines. The views at the winery are very expansive and scenic. This winery was founded by Shyamrao Chaugule in 1982 after doing a detailed research of 2 years in France. Initially, this vineyard used to sell major stock in other countries. Nowadays, Chateau Indage vineyards manufacture varieties of Red, White and Sparkling Wines. Marquise de Pompadour, the major product of the vineyard was introduced in 1986 and the popular Chantilly  wines were released in 1989.

The vineyard has well-maintained stock of wine & tasting facilities in its bar. One can taste 6 varieties for 150 rupees. Tourists can take a walk amidst the lush green vineyard. Chateau Indage vineyards Narayangaon are the largest wine producer in India. It has the production capacity of over 15,000/hour and 15 million liters of wine. One can buy bottles of wines as well as champagne at very low cost as compared to the market price.

How to Reach: This winery is 5 hours drive away from Mumbai and about 2 hours drive from Pune city.  It is 85 kms from Pune. Follow the route of Pune-Nashik Junction(on old Pune-Mumbai Highway)-Chakan-Rajguru Nagar-Narayangaon-Chateau Indage narayangaon. The winery is 4-5 kms away from Narayangaon bus stand on right side of the road.
