Lavasa hill station was privately constructed by Hindustan Construction Company (HCC).

Auto-rickshaws, city buses & other private vehicles are easily available at this bus stop. One can easily reach Watunde by Road as it is just 58 km away from the Pune city. Frequent buses are available to Lavasa from Pune city. The bus stop of Lavasa has connectivity to major tourist cities in Maharashtra.
- Nearest Rail Station: Pune station is the nearest railhead to reach Lavasa hill station. This station is 62 km away from the Lavasa. Pune station has a very nice connectivity to almost entire Maharashtra & India.
